Early Life

Cleopatra was born in 69 BC in the ancient land of Egypt. She was part of a royal family called the Ptolemies, who had ruled Egypt for many years. Even though her family originally came from Greece, Cleopatra grew up in Egypt and respected its culture and traditions.
