Queen Victoria was born on May 24, 1819, in London, England. Her full name was Alexandrina Victoria, but her family called her "Drina." She was a small, shy child who loved drawing, music, and spending time with her mother.

Victoria did not expect to become queen when she was young. However, when several relatives passed away, she became next in line for the throne. At just 18 years old, she woke up one morning to learn she was now the Queen of the United Kingdom.

Becoming Queen
