Che Guevara

Early Life

Ernesto "Che" Guevara was born in 1928 in Rosario, Argentina. As a child, he had asthma, which sometimes made it hard for him to breathe. Even so, he loved reading, sports, and learning about the world.

Che grew up in a family that enjoyed books and discussing ideas. This helped him become curious about fairness and how people lived in different places.

Becoming a Doctor

When Che was older, he studied medicine and became a doctor. He wanted to help people WHO were sick and poor, and he believed everyone deserved good medical care.

During college, Che went on long trips across South America on a motorcycle. On these journeys, he met many people who did not have enough food, homes, or access to doctors. These experiences strongly influenced his ideas about society and fairness.

Travels and Ideas

Che wrote about his travels in a book called The Motorcycle Diaries. In it, he shared stories about the people he met and what he learned. The book helped readers understand life in different parts of South America.

Over time, Che believed that big changes were needed to reduce poverty and unfairness. These ideas later led him to become involved in political movements.

Role in history

Che Guevara.org/wiki/Che_Guevara) became famous for his role in the Cuban Revolution in the 1950s, where he worked with Fidel Castro to help change Cuba’s government. After the revolution, he held leadership roles in Cuba and continued to write and speak about his ideas.

In 1967, Che was captured and killed in Bolivia while trying to support another revolutionary movement.

Che Guevara is remembered as a complex and controversial historical figure. Some people admire his dedication to helping the poor and standing up for his beliefs, while others disagree with his actions and ideas.
