Early Life
Sadio Mané was born on April 10, 1992, in a small village called Bambali in Senegal. When he was young, his family hoped he would become a teacher or follow a traditional job. But Sadio had a big dream—to play football.
As a child, he did not have fancy shoes or big fields to practice on. He sometimes played barefoot with friends and used whatever space he could find. Even then, people could see his speed and love for the game.
