Early Life

Muhammad was born around the year 570 in the city of Mecca. As a child, he lost both of his parents and was cared for by relatives. Even when life was hard, people noticed that he was kind, patient, and fair.

As he grew up, Muhammad worked as a merchant, traveling with trade caravans. People trusted him because he was honest and kept his promises. Because of this, many called him Al-Amin, which means “the Trustworthy.”

A Time of Thinking and Learning

Muhammad liked to spend time thinking quietly and helping others. He cared about the poor and believed people should treat each other with respect. He often wondered how people could live more peacefully and fairly together.

When Muhammad was about 40 years old, he began receiving messages that Muslims believe came from God. These messages taught that there is one God, that people should pray, help those in need, and be kind to their families and neighbors.

Sharing Important Teachings

Muhammad shared these messages with others, even when it was difficult. Not everyone agreed with him at first, but he stayed calm and patient. Over time, more people listened and began to follow his teachings.

One important moment was the Hijrah, when Muhammad and his followers moved from Mecca to the city of Medina. This journey helped build a strong and caring community based on cooperation and fairness.

Later Years and Legacy

Muhammad continued teaching about peace, forgiveness, and helping others until he passed away in 632. His teachings were later written down in the Qur’an, the holy book of Islam.

Today, billions of people around the world follow Islam and look to Muhammad as an example of good character. His life reminds many people to be honest, kind, and caring in their everyday actions.
