Shaun White

Early Life

Shaun White was born on September 3, 1986, in San Diego, California. He was born with a heart condition and had to have surgeries when he was very young, but he stayed strong and kept smiling.

Shaun grew up loving sports and adventure. He began snowboarding at around six years old, and he started competing at a very young age as he quickly showed amazing talent.

Shaun practiced snowboarding every chance he got. His bright red hair helped him stand out, and fans soon gave him the nickname “The Flying Tomato.”
