Early Life
Park Jimin was born on October 13, 1995, in Busan, South Korea. As a child, he was energetic and loved moving to music. His family noticed his passion early and encouraged him to follow his dreams.
Jimin attended dance classes and became especially skilled in contemporary (modern) dance. He studied at the Busan High School of Arts, where he was known for working very hard and being kind and polite to teachers and classmates. Training and Joining BTS
When Jimin was a teenager, he auditioned for a music company called Big Hit Entertainment (now part of HYBE). He was accepted and became a trainee, which meant long days of singing, dancing, and learning how to perform on stage.
